1. What roll has faith played in your life?
I would say it has played a major roll in my life because it influences my decision making and really effects what I do everyday.
2. Have you ever questioned your faith?
I have questioned my faith in the past, but now I know where I stand with my faith, and I am confident in it.
3. As you’ve made the transition from childhood to your teenage years what effects do think that change has had on your faith?
I would say it has strengthened my faith because I am more mature about it and can understand what is said to me in church. This helps me feel closer to God.
4. Has your faith affected your relationship with your friends positively or negatively?
I really haven’t changed anything really and if anything its helped me form new relationship with people at my church.

1. What roll would you say faith plays in your life?
Faith is basically a catalyst for me. My faith is what I eventually base my decisions off of.
2. Do you think your faith has affected your relationships with your friends? If so has it affected it positively or negatively?
I would say, if anything, that my faith has affected my relationships positively, just because I have gotten to know people better through my faith.
3. How has the transition from your childhood years into your teenage years affected your faith?
Well as I’ve grown older I think it’s made my faith seam more complex because I’m actually thinking about it. Your not just “going through the motions” anymore, which I would say helps me to appreciate it more.
4. What is your personal definition of faith?
I would say faith allows you to know why certain things happen, and why certain things are the way they are.
5. This is dropoutmyth.com. We challenge the myth here that teens drop faith or don’t necessarily get envolved in their faith. What do you think about that myth?
I would say that it’s true teens go through high and low periods, yet I don’t think they drop their faith all together. I think we, as teens, should try to get involved in our faiths more.

Q: What roll would you say faith has played in your life?
A: My faith is somewhat in the middle. I would say we don’t pay attention as much as we should.
Q: Has your faith affected your relationship with your friends? If so has it affected it positively or negatively?
A:If anything its had a positive effect because my friend’s are helping me grow closer to God because they also have faith.
Q: As you’ve made the transition from childhood to your teenage years what effects do think that change has had on your faith?
A: It’s probably had a negative effect on it because I’m hanging out with a lot of my friends instead of focusing on God.
Q: Have you ever questioned your faith?
A: Yes, right now I am questioning it more than I ever have.

Q: What is your favorite memory of your school?
A: I enjoy hanging out with my friends on weekends and relaxing from stressful weeks.
Q: How has God influenced you in school up to this point?
A: By giving me chances to grow stronger, closer, towards Him, whether in attending Mass at my school or simply discussing in class the nature of our faith beliefs.
Q: Looking back to your school experience, and speaking vaguely, what were areas of strength, and what were areas of negative temptation, in your prayer life? What led you to following either?
A: Well, the people surrounding me affected me both in terms of temptations and strengths. I have been tempted to go along with others when I know, deep down, that they don’t have the same values I know I should, or at least they aren’t acting like they do. I’ve also been supported by people around me who do have similar values. Their good examples help a lot. When I made mistakes, reflection was helpful to spot the mistakes and figure out how to correct or avoid them in the future.
Q: What was the main factor in your decision in picking the right high school?
A. I wanted to be challenged so I could have greater success later.
Q: How have your friends either helped or hurt your relationship with God?
A. See my answer to the earlier question about strength and temptation!
